...Children of Men. It's an incredibly bleak and depressing tale of Clive Owen getting a pregnant woman off British borders, in a world where humanity is infertile. The last pregnant woman. This film knocks you down and never, ever lets you get back up, not even at the end. The body count is incredibly high as well. The Weatherman was a good movie, one of the better of Nicolas Cage's career. Gore Verbinski, the guy who directed Pirates of the Carribean, did a fine job on this movie portraying American values and purpose in every-day people, in this case, a weatherman. It was also humorous in its own subtle way. |
