Stuff like this seriously pisses me off! Sorry for the language, but that's just so damn wrong! Eica - Lots of 6-year olds do prank calls, it's not uncommon. But whether it's a prank call or not, the people who answer the phone and dispatches an ambulance have no way of knowing. Therefor they should play it on the safe side, not just assume it's a prank call because the voice sounds 'young' or the issue sounds unbelievable (like in the case where the woman got shot to the head). Better just call it a day now, I feel so damn bad for that boy. in my country if you are under 18 and get lets say in to autocrash... emergency doesnt have rights to bring you in to hospital unless your parents agrees. some ppl i know died this way. yes, thats just pathetic. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. That's terrible. I can't imagine how frustrated her family would be about this. But it's sad that the kid had to just watch her die while the operator didn't take him seriously. I agree with Buzz. Despite how it's said and whether or not the operator feels it may be a prank call, they should still take it seriously and get emergency services to take care of it. If it is a prank call in the end, then at least they are sure it's nothing serious and can then throw the people who made the prank call right where they belong.  |
