No, the article is funny because its written as if the writer doesn't know what pig latin is. I'm fairly certain its a joke. For Example: Quote: At a local coffee shop we spoke with a Pig Latin American named Ichaelmay Unthay. What, you haven't heard of Pig Latin? Very simply, you take everything up to the first consonant and move it to the end, adding -ay. (If there is no first consonant, or it doesn't work, adding just -ay or -way is the alternative.) It's (as far as I know) mostly spoken by young school children (up to about 10 years old) (at least, here in my area) to try to trick each other or something, so the idea of immigrants speaking only that is kinda absurb, which is what is supposed to make the article funny, I think. _______________ Well then.
