Good points Aeth and btw +moveup and +movedown are the right commands... I personally thought of these things yet to add (ofcourse I wont mention Aeth's ones): - set name (to bind a name with spaces in it, is quite important i'd say) - color1 [collor number] (changes sword collor eg 0=red and 1=orange) - what about the famous debugknockmedown command, actually I think this one doesnt need to be mentioned as I thought it is removed in the new JA mod version??? _______________ ~~ Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none! ~~ |

Ruuk, I would like to do a sort of "home" sheet. May take some days though, sooo busy right now  Edit: Well, didnt take some days. Check your mail Rookie According to the Console Part, this is what I wrote Niten. Just to inform you guys ^^ "First of all it looks very worked out and clear to me. Some minor issues though: -"Instead of having to open your console, type in a command, then closing your console for every command you wish to execute – a three-step process, – binding the command to a key (see bind below), allows you to simply hit the key – a single step – to which the command is bound. Virtually any command can be bound to a key. Some commands are good for this, while others are not. " I had to read it twice before i got it. I'm from Germany and cant speak English too good... but there are several others from the EU. Maybe rewrite that a bit more simple? -add /amrespect to the amlist (works only with two, like amhug) -add /levelshot ? -add +moveup and +movedown (jump and crouch) to the movements. not 100% sure of those cmds though, you better check it out first -add a description to the movement and weapon/force sections? -add say_team -add messagemode3 (whisper) -maybe add serverside commands? like /allow amsit and such, for people making their own server? we could add that later though" _______________ Aeth S'kray *June 2002 +September 2003 This comment was edited by Aeth S'kray on May 19 2003 03:43pm. |

Niten- If we can't get a hold of underhill, then I'll leave it up to your professional opinion on how it should look style-wise. I like the way you've done things so far, so I don't intend to bother you with how you do anything else. I _do_ plan on having this as separate hyperlinked sections (linked to the table of contents). We'll make this v.1.0 fairly simple, and make it more complex as we do future updates. This said, just keep the sections as separate documents. That way, all DJ would have to do web page-wise would upload and hyperlink to each doc. Make a table of contents in the same style as everything else you're doing. Someone- I want a "title page" or "book/holocron cover" constructed as the first page you link to through the JA table of contents (or whatever you call that thing on the left hand side of the screen). Whoever wants to do this, contact me. I have an idea of what I want v.1.0's to look like, and the type of holocron I want on the page. I need progress reports from everybody, 'cause I'm gonna have to do it the hard way... Post them in here, each one of you, so we can figure out where yer at and what else you need help on. ----- Non-saber weapons section (MoS): I'm basically done my section. I think it's being edited right now, and if so, it should be close to being finished. Once I get it back from the editing department, I need to add a few small details and pictures before sending it to the experts(Acidic, and maybe Leo2033 or Magra as well). Movement (Icco): Hey guys... well my section is slowly coming along as i mess around with movement and what not. I have not had time to come up with a list of all the questions. i ll still do it but ive been sick, busy with school and other rl things. So if anyone wants to jump on the question thingy check out the here to help post in the forums. Console (B-Billy): Just letting you know where I'm at with my section. There's really not much more to go. I just sent a copy to Chosenone and asked him if he could think of anything to add and to see if my emote list is accurate. I'm still a little confused about the directories things get saved in, since it seems to depend on what mod is being used at the time. Other than that, my section is ready for the V1.0 release. For future releases, I'm thinking about a "Shortenment" section. Just a list of some abbreviations (why is that word so damn long?) that are used around the JA and maybe some chat abbreviations as well. I also like underhill's idea about a Photography section. I've taken Hux' Photography 101 class and that's a science unto itself. Maybe that could be it's own section, I have some of what underhill started about photography.
