maybe I slip some from concept of this thread but... For me, I really don't like from Bush, It was too obvious when U.S.A attacked to Iraq, The Main Goal was Oil and not the mass-destruction-weapon(hmm right spelled). Where Buzz crosses the line is that this forum isn't about his politics but anytime anyone makes a statement of thier opinions about government he is all over it. Like white on rice. (there is a pun in ther for you politically minded folks  Thats wrong, so he and I have somewhere else to have these conversations and you all can get back to the business of what this site is for, playing games. Buzzion and I will carry on elsewhere, thank you very much for support and understanding of why this had to be this way but you can be sure that my political commentary here is over because I have somewhere else to vent it. Definition 3c That's what Gore had. No spin just fact. But he didn't get the plurality of votes in the right states to win. I remember a report from nbc nightly news that came out the spring after the election that dealt with the florida recount. The reran the ballots in multiple recount methods. Bush won in every possible type of recount, except one. That one was the recount type Al Gore did not want them to run. You don't want to see where I talk politics. There's no such thing as civilized discussion on the internet, and its just proven there. What I do here is like using kid-gloves in comparison to what goes on in other places. You might enjoy dailykos though, or the democratic underground, they're your kind of people, or at least would agree with you on issues. no that's truth, not spin. Gore received about 48.5% of the popular vote, Bush 47.5%. There is no spin to that. Spin is when there is a vote to increase funding for some project. The dems want to increase it 15%, the republicans only 5%. The media then reports that republicans want to cut funding by 10% for the project. If you're talking electoral votes then yes, that's a majority. Yet you still want to say that the rest of his movie is truthful? Look up the Pantagraph. Read the links I posted. Don't drink his kool-aid just because you don't like the president. I also wanted to reiterate that my post endorsed the wounded soldiers lawsuit and I wished him victory and every dime he has requested. Since that is what this topic is about, not MM and NOT GW, or me or anybody else. Since it really has no effect of the overall message of the movie, other than giving the conservatives just a little more ammo for the potato gun they have aimed at MM, who cares!! I hope the soldier gets every dime he is suing for. Not because I dislike MM, quite the contrary, but because he deserves it and more for his sacrifice and dedication to the truth of his own statements and predicament. He had his words taken out of context in moore's movie. He did not give his permission for moore to use that interview in his movie. Moore essentially made millions off of misrepresenting this guy's views. He spent a year trying to get things settled with moore out of court. Damon has stated in a televised interview that if he wins the majority of the money he wins will go to funds for the families and children of soldiers injured or killed in the war. And starting out with such a high amount means they can be seen as reasonable and accept a lower amount. Also this slams in moore's claim of "never been sued."
