Just by looking at the name of this thread, my hand shifted towards my crypt-like old games storage box. It unearthed my old Hexen 2. After about 3 hours of screwing around i got it to work! I had many an hour of groaning, reminisicing and raised eyebrow as my girlfriend got unordinarily interested in it! what makes this cooler is that the guy will actually try to implement bloom and other cool stuff of latest games in to quake, quake2 and quake3.
