Well my friend runs a server for my clan, it's not protected against the script which enables you to crash the server by sending a really long message. We have flood protect on, how can we prevent this form of crashing?.

Nah JA+ is protected against it, as is JAE and I'm pretty sure JAR.

I don't think JA+ helps either. Maybe I'm wrong but I remember seeing something similar happen on JA+ before.

It's commonly called the q3 msgboom exploit, and there isn't a thing you can do about it if you are running basejka except use an auto-restart script that will restart the game once someone crashes it.

I can certainly understand that despite this problem, you don't want to sacrifice the gameplay of basejka for a mod like JA+ just to prevent a simple bug like the msgboom. That's partly what this is all about. If you'd like a beta release to test out just let me know.
