I started getting this "error" in JA recently: "name" is:"Threat" default:"Padawan" I have not made any big changes to JA. I added a map or two. Could it be something to do with a mod on servers? Or is it my set up? xfire actually affected my computer in a similar way as a virus, took me 5 solid minutes to open "my computer" with it installed, my pc was totally useless with it on, until I realized xfire was the cause and uninstalled it. I think is a buggy program and wouldn't recommend it to anyone~ _______________ I fite for teh usars!1 |

Yeah, try deleting the jampconfig.cfg file from every mod folder you have, then run the game without that xfire. This comment was edited by Setementor on Jul 05 2006 05:25am. |

Well, my first guess was xfire aswell, so i told this other certain person who is experiencing the very same sort of problem to shut down xfire and see if this error would continue to appear. However, after shutting down xfire this error was still occasionally appearing in jk3, so i thought something else mightve been causing it. But yea, do you have to restart jk3 after shutting down xfire, or shut down xfire before starting up jk3 in order for the error to go away or something like that?
