the map is a bit restricted in terms of being able to do things... the court yard for example (in my opinion) is not exactly the type to do gun ffa's, etc. I'm probably going to be kicked out or sumtin for this post/thread but hey it's my opinion and i do know how hard it is to build a map... Tried it out myself... lol... AND i probably know how many flames or sumtin i'm gonna get for this...

The courtyard sucks for FFA in my opiniion because:
-Easy access to the Merr-Sonn, FC-11, Repeater, etc. -There are no tactics other than jump really high while shooting because the map is so open. Let me define tactics. I was playing FFA yesterday with Kalheka on ns_streets and I was sniping from the windows above the area with the force enlightenment holocron. He starts raining 2ndary repeater shots through the door, I slip a few uncharged disruptor shots out the window as he is closing in. I hop out the window, land on the plank below, jump back up and land by the door. I crouched until I could see him, then shot him in the back. Mmm...so much more dramatic than I jumped 14 times, spent the ammo on 3 different heavy weapons, and killed a guy who was camping the bacta and armour. I go play FFA for FFA. Ok... ty and btw the advent map is TOO big lol... another thing i know it's a training map but to me situations are too limited and i HAVE NOT played LT... another thing IF you booby trap the entrance LOLOLOL lots of fun  unless u get booted of course... there should be more area's and doors, and do you know how long it takes from the place your spawn to the other area's??? too long IMO and the map IMO should be more open(incase your late lol ) _______________ When you are told something for years, you learn to accept it. Don't think that'll happen. JA map's excellent for training in my opinion not to mention a good place to get some peace from the maniacs on the public servers . |
