Computer problem

Hey guys.

I have a problem with my computer and I have no idea what the f*ck is wrong with it.

Right, basically, everytime I play Counterstrike Source, my PC starts beeping. These beeps start off with a 10 second interval between each one, but after half an hour (still playing CS:S) the beep doesn't stop until I close the game.

The beeps last about 1/2 a second at first, but, like I've said, the beep-time increases.

This really is a weird problem and I would really like to fix it. Especially when I'm on the microphone and all they can here is beep after beep after beep.

Thanks in advance guys :)

What the fack. I posted a post and it didn't work.

Anyway, what I previously said was that it's not beeping anymore because my room's alot cooler now that the temperature has dropped outside. It must have just been the damn heat.

Good to see that everything is okay =D

Thanks anyway guys.

Yeah, he's right.

If your computer overheats, you should check for dust inside the pc. It gets there whether you want to or not, you know. Nothing to do with a clean/dirty house either.

My computer isn't dirty, idiot. It's just over heating.

No need to insult mate (people who post here just trying to help ya), but yeah IT MIGHT be dirty. After 5 minutes of playing JKA my Processor temperature was 80C. Then I took of the cover and saw Dust Kingdom, of course i cleaned it and one side of PC is opened. Now when playing JKA my temp goes up to 60C (when idle ~49) which is awesome. I also got rid of game/pc crashes caused by overheating :)

So dust inside = possibility of overheating.

Well another source of beeping happens when you press liek 10 buttons at once, but yes it most likely is dirty. This reminds me I need my dad to take my computer out to the shop and clean it...

yeah that would make sense.

Right now my computer is opened up, and I have a huge ventilator blowing inside to cool my pc down.

It's no problem as long as you remember to clean your pc in the end, because opened pc's attract dust and dust = bad.

Thanks, but I don't speak that language :P

Nevermind, it does look as if it's the temperature. Thanks alot Wicek :)

For the record, it looks as if it's the GPU temperature. It would make sense considering it only beeps when I play Counterstrike.

Cuzza i might not be sure, but i had similar problem when playing WoW. And then checked with some program temperature of my PC (which was very high). The beeping sound is warning that your PC overheat probably. You can turn it off in BIOS, but better would be to clean inside/change cooling etc.

Btw. download some freeware which check temperature of your PC and check it when playing. I used this.
