The JAT and myself have been discussing the possibility of reintroducing the idea of the Student Induction Program. For those who arn't currently aware, this was an idea introduced to allow younger students top pair up with a more experianced student in order for training and to allow them to make new friends here in the JA. Older members will be able to aleart the JAT of their interest and be added to a lis in the permie thread allowing younger members to locate you and request you help. If you accept their request you simply need to inform a JAT who will update the list accordingly. The maximum number of Partners a single member may have will be capped at 3. So......We get a partner, then what? Thats a good question! Primarily it would be good to introduce several method of communication. It is the job of the volunteer to become close friends with all their training partners and to answer any questions they may pose. Secondly your job will be to instruct them in the basics of the gaming world as well as our other areas such as Team Speak and IRC. So what do I get out of this? Another really good question. It is often said that the best way to learn something is to teach it. This gives you the uniqe opportunity to learn first hand exactly HOW to teach new individuals as well as showing a great commitment to the JA which certainly wont go unnoticed  How do i sign up? For now simply register your interest in this thread. Laster in the week a permie will be created and you will be able to add your name from there  If this idea shows some promise we will be producing a permie thread within the next week. This is currently under discussion etc by the JAT and should be up and running sometime around christmas. We'll keep you posted and will also be trying to keep you involved with some of the decision making. After all.....your the guys who are effectvily running it
