Haha nicely put Mic. Yeah its definitely a show you need to follow, not one you can tune in and out of. Here's a small game for you to try. I discovered it accidentally and lost. Watch one of the latest episodes of Lost (Any from season 5) with a friend or family member (I did it with my girlfriend) who has never watched a single episode before. Then try to explain to them what is going on whilst answering all their questions and then, try to get them to watch any more!
I think if you didn't carry on watching it from Season 1, you kinda lose interest and won't ever really get it back. Its a heavily consistent series (sorta), and requires you to concentrate and not miss a single ep. Loving the new season of 24, has its dodgy moments but on the whole its improved I think.

Hmmm………it has great character depth, action, a bit of scifi, a good deal of intrigue, and the writers seem to be more creative with every season. I’m surprised more people here aren’t into it.

I hate spoilers Its to do with series 4, and its by no means as clear cut as it sounds. He doesn't really 'die' per say. You'd have to watch and find out.

im on series one ;< Ah, threads like this are always risky to enter in such cases. Though the title doesn't have 'spoilers' in it I admit! The best parts of the show are s1, bits of s2, last half of s3, s4 and s5 so far. I seem to remember the polar bear in the second or third season as well, and the "black mist" which killed Echo. Dont get me wrong, i use to be a huge fan of the program but it went off on to many tangents. And now I hear the best person in the show, John Lock, is dead, but he's back as a ghost?!

I watched the whole thing over again, and there is so much you notice the second time through. I agree with both of these points actually. I've re-watched portions of Lost, depending on availablity, and as Talle says you notice so much more, you also begin to see how well constructed it is. I still don't have all the series on DVD though, so I havn't tried it with the whole shebang yet.
