You really have to watch the entire thing from the beginning of the first season to really enjoy it.
If I could forget every episode I've seen and watch the entire thing from start to finish again I'd love it. |

Lost is crap. They've made it to far fetched. I saw a Polar Bear on an tropical island and turned it off.
Thats a close minded view with little argument to back it up Cuth. The polar Bear was in episode 2 of the show, the main reason people watch it is for the Twin Peaks/X-Files style weirdness that goes on. Its just bucked the trend and not used FBI Agents for a change. I can totally understand people not finding the show appealing, but I cannot get my head around those who just say "Lost is weird, therefore its crap!" Its a well made show, regardless of personal taste. Enough said. |

Talle: Yes I agree the time holes or whatever they are, are indeed a risk. But I have faith in the writers, they havn't really let me down yet, and considering they have an end date I can see them having thought all this through.
Afterall they have already made Alpert visiting Locke as a child make sense! I am a hardcore Lost fan. I wonder how long they can keep up doing the time flashes. They can easily cause plot holes and such. Oh well, I can only hope the writers don't screw it up. |

Bump for the new series. Don't know if anyone here is still following Lost, but its really on form thesedays. If you have taken the time to keep up with the show then you should be watching this - exceptional storytelling and television.
Just seen #3, gotta say the time stuff is really well incorporated into the show, just when you think it might be getting stale a whole new box of ideas is opened up! POSSIBLE SPOILER
According to screencaps of the shot from http://losteastereggs.blogspot.com/, personally, I think it'd be pretty lame if John died from a gun wound to his kidney-ish area, since he... doesn't have it anymore? I have a strange feeling Sayid may sacrifice himself to save Bernard and Jin, or something to that effect. I know what you mean about Bernard's skills but then other Lostee's have gotten lucky with just as little experience. Yeah there was a lot of build up to Charlie's sacrifice, i'm not sure he'll be able to change it unless Desmond somehow intervenes. I do hope they explain why Dessie has been getting visions about Charlie specifically though...
I am 100% certain Locke will be alive, its going to be interesting to see how his situation plays out, could well set up a new plot line for next season. _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches? Seems to me Bernard will die, just because he isn't experienced in combat. As for Charlie, Desmond's vision could still come true, but the fact that there are people on the station is interesting.

Well, I guess it makes sense that the finale is called Through the looking glass. Haha. (Spoilers) I can't wait! And yes I was surprised that Charlie is not dead yet. I see what you say about Sayid and the rest of them but from the preivew, it looks like they aren't going to go down without a fight so it should be very interesting. _______________ Katan's Music Bruver History will be kind to me, for I intend to write it. - Winston Churchill |

Spoilers may follow:
Wow that episode was amazing. Some of you might remember that Charlie is my favourite character in Lost for some important reasons so this episode was pretty emotional anyway, but even the non-charlie bits are setting up a brilliant finale. Also it explains why Roussaeu was collecting dynamite in 'The Brig' episode. I really like how the characters were written in this episode, i felt it captured them spot on. Charlie's farewells were particularly well done. I heard somewhere that there is supposed to be five deaths before the end of the season (or maybe just in the season total?) and that they will be major characters (in other words not just random islander #4 or nicki and paolo). **spoilers** After this episode i'm worried Sayid, and/or Jin maybe two of these deaths - they are both staying behind (with bernard) to shoot the dynamite, Sayid in particular might not survive. I find this amusing because after Charlie and Desmond they are probably two of my favourite characters. On a final note: I really didn't see that ending coming, I had a feeling Charlie would not be able to hold his breath that long and i wondered what the sollution would be, seems the looking glass is not as flooded as we thought; how the hell is he going to get himself outta that one? I loved the first season of Lost! But since then I have found that I am losing interest in it. Very sad.
I do hope that the last couple episodes are worth watching this past season. I kinda feel the same way about 24 as well. Quote: No way Locke will die IMO. The island will probably save him.
I agree, not sure exactly how he will survive yet, although as has been said the island and Jacob are possiblities. Personally i'm worried about Charlie after reading the blurb for the next episode... Ah yes Jacob the latest mystery in Lost, they better not leave us waiting a season to find out what he's all about lol. Ben is more unstable than i thought. I presume his statement to Michael that the Others are 'the good guys' is in reference to the fact he was not a fan of the DHARMA group. There seems to be more to these 'natives' than meets the eye though, as that Richard guy definitely dosn't seem to be aging, either that or he has discovered an excellent moisturiser or something. Going to be a strong finale thats for certain, between this and Heroes i feel spoilt for quality television. _______________ To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield | Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken | Rhaiko D'kana - SWTOR EU Guild Co-Founder | Is it what the teacher, teaches? Quote: As for last night's episode, I only have this comment (so spoilers). Anyone else find that guy who recruited Juliet way back in the season, and told Locke about Sawyer find him a bit different? It seems his age is just a bit weird as we see him obviously in Ben's flashback. Only looked like his hair was shorter!
SPOILERS - HUGE ONES Yea, I thought that too! Richard is the dude's name I think. I guess he ages rather well on the island. It also makes sense how Ben became their leader, basically delivering control of the island and Dharma's facilities to the hostiles. It seems that the roles are reversed now, our favorite LOST characters are the hostiles and the previous hostiles are sort of like Dharma. Richard and his buddies got control of that company which recruited Juliet, so perhaps they are pretending to be Dharma? As for Jacob, that is rather vague. Could all be in Ben's head, but you never know. Hope Locke isn't dead, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did die. His death would definitely cause a stir among the Others, who seemed to have a great respect for his communion with the island. BTW, I liked how "Roger - Work Man" fit into Ben's background story. Explains the dead body and the truck full of beer heh. _______________ "Do or do not, there is no try" Jedi Master Yoda Dual Saberist This comment was edited by R2D2 on May 13 2007 04:49pm. |

Quote: Actually I know one person who thinks 3 seasons is too much. Basically thinking they should be able to wrap it up in 12 fewer episodes.
I'm one of those people. I'm seriously losing interest in this show. One of the downsides of TV shows is that they go by ratings. The better the show does, the more drawn-out it becomes. A show like lost is based on suspense and plot twists. How far can they drag this before people give up and watch something with more closure. At least now there is an end in sight, so we know what to expect. I don't think I'll watch the next seasons until they all available on DVD. _______________ make install -not war |

Actually I know one person who thinks 3 seasons is too much. Basically thinking they should be able to wrap it up in 12 fewer episodes. And 24 is getting as ridiculous as Lost, and its ratings are dropping. I'm sorry but CTU should not have been able to get attacked like that, in any way shape or form.
