the main difference is that Lost doesnt have anything left to show. Again, says you.  I can only presume you have not been following the show as regularly or closely as other viewers. One of the shows main criticisms is that it dosn't answer all the questions and explore all the (many) mysteries of the island quickly enough.
Qin Yes i agree, however my point was that Star Wars as a franchise could have finished after RotJ and never reappeared (including books/games and such). I agree the PT is probably the most inferior aspect of the mainstream Star Wars legacy. R2 Yeah i think i sounded something like Hiro from Heroes when they decided to bring in Sayid, it put most of my favourite characters in one group hehe. I agree about Kate, i just knew she'd go tell Jack, she relies on him too much. Your three points all make sense, my first thoughts were that Jack thinks he is double crossing the others with Juliet, but in fact is being triple crossed himself or somesuch. Personally i'm most glad Star Wars has continued on after the OT, its created a mythology that counts for a lot more than the original heroes journey that GL wrote about way back. i quote some random video i saw on youtube a while back ''6 films - or at least, if your a true fan - 3 and 3 imposters that ruined the series!''  but yes - im a fan of the EU - and the newer films, but the OT was far better than the Phantom menace and clone wars (ep 3 was by far the best of the 3). Yea, Sayid was a good choice but involving Kate was a mistake. Of course, if they didn't involve her, she would have gotten rather paranoid, so they were a little stuck.
As for what Jack and Juliet aren't telling Kate... I have a few ideas about that. 1. She is also pregnant. 2. Jack and Juliet knew about the Other's coming to the camp in a few days. 3. Parts of series two can be slow, especially for a casual viewer (rather than a 'Lostie') however trust me, if you enjoyed series 1, the end of series 2 and most of series 3 are worth the wait. **Possible spoilers** Just saw 'The Brig'. I was really impressed with this episode, it finished Sawyers personal journey brilliantly and set the way for Locke's new journey perfectly. When the script writers are on form the episodes are just so well written its scary. Can't wait to see what Jack is up to either... I knew they shouldn't have told Kate about Naomi

I agree, in my opinion Lost's second series comes across as the worst primarily because it did a lot of setting up (of plots) and didn't give the audience enough back in the way of answers. I'm glad to see someone else agrees that after a bit of a slow start the show has really started delivering. To say its boring is to not understand the definition of boring really. Thats certainly interesting  haha I can't imagine getting into it through the second series, its got such a convoluted plot.
In my experience shows like Lost always receive criticism for doing things differently, a bit like people in that respect. I got Season 1 on DVD this summer after my cousin reccomending it to me and I also got a hold of the 2nd Season. I am definetly enjoying these recent episodes of Lost. Finally getting somewhere! It took them a while, but now it seems we are getting somewhere ha. _______________ Katan's Music Bruver

The story is definitely going somewhere.... They are LOST afterall, and want to get off the island. As for season 1, I find it interesting that I started watching LOST during season 2 .

lost is so boring.
could have ended after 1st season. now its either repetitive or pointless, story going nowhere. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. I even watched some of the supplementary programs that went with the series. I firmly believe Keither Sutherland did a great job with his portrayal of Bauer bringing to life one of the most interesting action heroes of recent times. As for The Brig, I thought it was a good episode. You don't get anything about eyepatch man, but learn more about Naomi. John's story with the Others is interesting. Sounds good i've been wanting to find out what Locke has been upto with his new 'friends'. Yeah what Naomi said at the end of D.O.C about the plane was startling.
