Oh my god... oh my god! I got the german magazine GameStar today, and guess what's in there? A worldexclusive report about JEDI KNIGHT 3! It's propably coming this fall! I havent read the whole article yet but I can tell you one thing: It's fantastic. You can create an own character for single player, means you can change race, gender, cloths (!), face.... everything! Looks like they're going to make three styles again: one handed saber, double bladed saber and two sabers. And, you will fight against a rancor. It's just... amazing.

Aeth if the photos are fare larger. Scan them and e-mail me a couple I want to see them so I can see how phony they are.
Edit: JKii.net has some larger screens but they still aren't very conclusive to me. Scan those Pics of the character creation screen in a larger size than they have. Buzz, the screens are far larger in the magazine, good quality and everything. They have interviews with the game designers + photos.
Oh, and Master Lew: They'd be so damn f*** if it was a hoax  As I said before it's not just any magazine, it's the biggest one in Germany+Austria. They have absolutely no reason to do a hoax and have had several exclusive articles before. They've visited the designers in Wisconsin if you really want to know.
I see I can't convince you but I find it very amuseing to see your mistrust against that poor German mag...  but hey, I guess thats ok. Maybe you will like GameStar more when the game is announced officialy?

they are much bigger, i saw a scanned picture of the entire article somewhere, in proportion to the text they are big, but when scanning in, it's hard to get life-sized stuff _______________ Well then. You know Aeth, if you want go ahead and scan these supposed screenshots out of the magazine, make sure they are bigger than the ones that have been posted there though. Here's the problem with it being "official" The only thing they're posting is from the same gamestar you've been reading. There is no other source for this. What else I find really strange is that if you look at this supposed character creation screens. That could be easily faked. Don't forget guys there is JK2, KOTOR and SWG. You could combine and mix things to create this. If you look at those shots, the selections are exactly those in JK2, except for that next button. Even the heading above that is looks an awful lot like the player configuration line in MP. It would be cool if it were true but I don't buy it. And if you want to know why anyone would play such a cruel joke. Don't forget that we had someone here announce JK3 as a joke. Don't you think someone else might have taken it a step further and doctored photos. My big point about SWG and KOTOR is that the release dates on PC were going to be spaced farther apart so as not to overwhelm people with star wars games. Now that was just with 2 games can you imagine 3? Besides Raven wouldn't get to anounce a release of this game. Lucasarts would.
Edit: Don't mistake skepticism for paranoia Aeth. Buzz: How paranoid can you become? Can't believe LucasArts likes Germans better than you? Hehe, just kidding. See, when they say it is worldexclusive, they provide a special link with a website ( http://www.gamestar.de/reklawyks/secret-jk3/ ) and have interviews with developers... they've convinced me. Why the hell should they fake something like taht and imagine so much details plus giving it a titel story? It would be a scandal for them.
Regarding the time: SWG and KOTR have much more content. A massive multiplayer game is very hard to programm and an RPG is very detailed aswell (Baldurs Gate 1 took over 3 years). JK3 on the other hand is quite simple to do. Still quake 3 engine, lots of the JK2 structure can be used again. But I guess it's your decesion... you can wait for the official release when you want, but I start looking forward to it right now

With today's technology there is a simple rule to follow in cases like this. "Believe nothing you see and only half of what you hear." If I'm going to believe it I want to see an official Lucasarts anouncement. Or more than one gaming magazine posting. No offense to the top german gaming magazine or germans either, but when I think of big anouncements and revolutions in gaming I don't think germany as being at the forefront. Don't you find it a little odd that it seems to be showing almost everything people wanted a newer game to have. If this ends up being fake don't be surprised if I laugh at everyone sucked in by it. And if its not fake then cool. But also remember that KOTOR and SWG are being released soon as well. I'm betting KOTOR has been in development for a whole lot longer than a year and its not finished yet. JK2 was released last year. If they're 60% done with JK3 they would have started to make it around this time last year.
