You know, I've had my experiance here. I have had my fun. Lots of memories. I've learned alot here, and made alot of friends. BUT, there was a day when this place started going to the birds. The Academy has become contrary to it's original ideals. When you have people who are so old, and no one new coming around. The old one's just become...well... Rediculous.to all you oldbies. You have unknowingly made this place, worthless. I don't speak out of anger. I speak out of sadness. I have no hand in the downfall, but even I fell ashamed. So you should too. There are people here who have recently been banned. This person was my master. I am loyal to him, and I'll follow him. So you banned him, now ban me. I am hurt. Tido was my master. and it hurts to see that he is not HERE. The place where I have spent so much time. So with Sauce's post I agree. So with that said. I'll post my formal apology. Sorry. I had no right to say what I have said. No matter how I feel. I am better than that. Tido taught me to be, and I let him down. So now It's somewhat of a walk of shame aswell. Over the past few years I've seen alot of faces (or digital faces rather ,) and I have contributed more than some would admit, but still it's just anger. But to respond to the post made about me being "childish." That's the bueaty of life. WE CAN ALL BE CHILDISH AT TIMES. Get used to it. Infact, you should enjoy it yourself from time to time. Will you let the argument die already. Dj posted the end to it and that should be that, I liked tido despite popular belief, but as being someone who was banned before (Angel D'Kana [GASP]), I know the JAC always have their reason. Unlike my banning or many other bannings, the JAC have let us keep this thread open so they can shed light on the situation. This is a first and we are spitting in their face by flamming them and the JAK. We dont have access to their private section, we dont have knowledge of PRIVATE chats between tido and the JAC that may have occurred. Flamming either side in this is futile. Please just accept DJ's comment (I'm not saying agree or disagree just accept and acknowledge his reasons) and let this thread die already. It serves no more purpose, since DJ posted his comment, than to suck up to the JAK by reaffirming their already exhausted points, or the contradiction: flamming them for your beliefs based upon incomplete knowledge. Never assume you know the full story, when you assume you make an ass of u and me _______________

The site was written back when I was still learning PHP, and I'm sure there are quite a few other security issues with the site. Tido had a system user account and full access to all of the JA's site code. I didn't think about closing his account until after I heard he planned on exploiting the JA's site. At that point you need to assume the worst, and as a responsible system administrator I have to keep things and people like that as far away from the server as possible. Remember he once had priveledged access to our stuff before as an IRC bot admin and he used that to log into other people's accounts on the site. I should have banned him after that, but I'm the "nice guy JAC" and gave him his second change. He squandered that too, so out he goes. I'm sorry you think he's the coolest guy ever. hrm i was gonna try to type something funny but most of yall are prolly too dry to get my humor anyway. seriously, the general forums are a bad place to be discussing sensitive issues about which few people know the whole story of. what can only result from this is just flaming that solves nothing. i have absolutely no faith in civil forum discussions and neither should anyone! o'lin i know you're mad about the whole thing. tido was your master and he meant alot to you. in your view, he was removed because of his conflicting ideals with that the academy and that sucks. i understand completely. but making a thread like this will not really solve much. sure it feels good to stick it to the man and voice your anger when you're frustrated, but it's still done at other people's expense. uncool! I've done that in the past too so you're in bad company so yeah, they're not gonna ban you unless you do something stupid. if you wanna hang out with tido play america's army or whatever the heck he plays. and yeah, taie it easy! |
