I hate repeating myself, but it seems I have to.

With a clear cut set of rules, the pure basics of it all, there is no room for interpretation and discussion. Thats as simply as I can put it.

Now instead of questioning things left and right (which seems to be the common responce nowadays to anything that is done) how about we thank Roan for taking time out of his life to set this up for us all, aye?

Hehe Well my assumption just hitted right place...

Lets just say this, This is the game and the game goes with those rules above and that means on the other hand you will cheat if you are thinking to break the rules...

Hard cold fact, if you don't have fun in the game because of specific rule, leave it then:)

or again on the other hand you could keep just fun with others and enjoy from the tournament.

P.S Thankies for the Roan, so many times people are blinded to be grateful for what they have allready;)

Your thoughts betray you, then.

Regardless of whether or not glide-delays are taught in the academy, they are not permitted in the tournament. :)

Why do I get the feeling that some of you are the people who would complain in math class about an exam where you are forbidden to use a calculator even though you have been allowed to use it when doing homework?

Even martial arts tournaments have moves and techniques that are not allowed, even though one of the participants may be able to do it. We're trying to keep things as fair as possible for everyone involved, and avoiding potential for controversy like last year.

If you have a problem with the way the tournament is being run then perhaps you should not have entered to begin with. I'm really starting to think some people in this world cannot have any fun unless they are constantly complaining hoping to make everyone else around them miserable.

I hope that wasn't aimed at me.

These rules were choosen to keep it as clear cut and simple as possible. No room for loose definitions. In other tournaments it is not uncommon to have rules that alter things that normaly would be quite common, all in the name of keeping it simple.

I understand that, but I guess Qin-Tay Senatu was asking because it -is- a bit strange that things that are -taught- at the Jedi Academy, are forbidden to use in Tournaments -held by- the Jedi Academy.

Just weird that your being taught things you can't use anyway.

No offense ment, I don't even know what glide delays and poking and the other stuff is, or how to do it, and I'm glad you can't use it after the stuff I've heard about it, but just thought it was strange.
