| Always get laggy game and need help | |

I always get really slow games(5-20 when people are in sight)
Here are my specifications I have a ATI radeon 9250 128mb graph card a 750mhz intel celeron CPU and 504 mb ram with about 750 in virtual memory.I've tried the improve fps/ping guide and it doesn't seem to work. I am running it in 640x480 windowed mode, am running version 1.00 and also sometimes the background and textures look white. I have one last question..........
Well, on youtube i saw somebody's video where it was him vs 7 cultists. I was wondering if i can make that kind of battle in solo mode on the multiplayer program. Yeah well, in that case i don't think there's much you can do to increase performance. Your system can only work as fast as the cpu can allocate it information.
I'd suggest keeping settings for dynamic lights, geometrical details and wall marks etc to as low as possible. Actually it was always like this,it's playable but it is slow.
The graphics settings are set to low and no detailed shaders. And yes i know i can only play on 1.00 servers i just prefer them over 1.01. In my opinion, your graphics card should handle the game just fine. However, your cpu seems very slow which is probably the reason for the lag. I havn't tried to run a q3 game on a 700mhz machine yet, so i'm not really sure how well such a game would run.
Did you ever had playable fps on your system before? Or was it more of a general, sudden decrease in performance? Oh and btw, without the patch you'll be restricted to playing on 1.00 servers which is a minority of the overall servers available right now. _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here! I have updated it and switched back with patch commander and i enjoy version 1.00 more.
