| Issues with JK3, need help! | |

Ok, better I take it from the top and explain it all so I don't have to take it up later.
All started ages ago really, can't remember when, only that it was during the last 9 months when I was in the military. The problem is that after a while of gaming JK3, winamp (which I have playing in the background) will start to loop and the screen will freeze itself. Sometimes this freeze-up will be permanent, and then the only button that works is the reset -button. Sometimes it will be for about 5-10 seconds and after that my screen goes black, then shows the "no signal" -screen, only to zap back on again with the music delooping itself and continuing normal. I wait for a couple of secs and I'm in-game again but the screen looks like this! (pic taken in a matrix on v2) Things I've tried so far without any improvement: -Reinstall gfx/mobo drivers -Reinstall JK3 -Trying to run JK3 without certain add-ons (skins etc) and with different graphic settings -Run without winamp in the background -Reinstall windows, all the latest drivers to my hardware, and reinstall JK3 And still no luck.... Now when I'm back from the military and have time to play the game once in a while i'd really appreciate some help on this issue of mine. Cheers to ya'll in advance.

Make sure it's not overheating. masta could be right. most of the symptoms (like 2/3) seems like video card related issues. i had pretty much the same problems a few months ago. my pc ended rotting in a hardware shop for two weeks. i hope you wont suffer the same fate lol _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february.
