Got this rumor from Wikipedia: Quote: On April 25th, 2007, a rumor came about that BioWare was secretly in development on a Knights of the Old Republic MMORPG. Stemming from the latest issue of EGM, the rumor contained little information to support the claim. However, investigation into the matter reveals that there is more to the rumor than EGM's single suggestion. In early 2006 BioWare opened an Austin branch to develop an unnamed MMORPG. This alone confirmed an inevitable BioWare MMO, but the choice of Richard Vogel as a leader of the project is what largely suggest that the currently unnamed MMO is set in the KOTOR universe. Vogel was one of the project leaders behind the sci-fi MMO Star Wars Galaxies. SWG was held down by being set in a universe where continuity prevented any true story development (such as seen in WoW) and SOE assuming creative control eventually caused the removal of the things that had kept SWG's hardcore fanbase playing among them the skill tree system, which allowed for more customizable characters and drastic changes to the game's combat and character profession selection.

Congrats! Just remember it is a beta, so not finalized. However, logic would suggest the early areas will be at a more finalized state than the later areas! Some of you may have gotten emails from SWTOR about a testing survey and pre-ordering. Those were sent in error, not due to any hacking attempt. This Friday's update was the reveal of the last holonet tab, the Galaxy Map. After getting hands on today at GAMEFEST in Birmingham.. after a 3hour wait  haha my expectations were met in pretty much every aspect in the 25minutes i played of it. Looks crisp and clean in visuals, the voice acting is superb and the game runs very smooth, good combat animations and a great main story quest line it seems which will develop your character as your progress. _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

yup was changed in beta forums, orginal plan was add them to current, but def is full game. _______________ Come on now, every Generation X boy wanted to be Luke Skywalker. Is it because he was a whiney farm boy from some backwater hack planet? No, it's because he was a FREAKING JEDI. He could block lasers with his lightsaber. He could levitate droids & rocks & crap with his mind. Come on, he choked two pig dudes with just a simple gesture. He cut off Darth Vader's hand and kicked him down a flight of stairs. Beta weekends starting in September, officially announced! Large increase in testers. I imagine a lot of people will get in now to these weekends. Be sure to make an account on the official website to have a chance.
