anyone played this game?
i did 
id say its one of the best rpgs in years! it has atmosphere of the books too! really one of the best titles this year... the only bad thing might be crappy load times... and since you have to explore a lot - there are lots of loadings... anyone tried it? _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Best RPG EVER!(if we dont count some classics  )
1st i downloaded it with torrent illegally. I LOVED it. So i actually i bought LE of the game+ book called Last Wish  . Its my 1st singelplayer ONLY game that i ever bought. |

Voice acting aint bad, heard alot worse.. Overall tis a very nice game, varied with different kinds of adventures etc. uhm, the fact that its made by men probably for men, is inescapable, hehe.

i think i read 5 out of 7 books about Geralt the witcher.
awesome stuff. simmilar to lotr, but better
mostly because its not so epic... it takes you to the simple life of a fantasy world which means a lot of things are shown in the very nasty and realistic (realistic in a fantasy world lol). violence, sexual themes plays big part in those books.

Voice acting is pretty good, it's what you would expect from your average mid-profile RPG. At least it's not as bad as Gothic 3's. I'd blame the dubbers for the f's though since I think it was originally Polish. You can blame the fair amount of sexual content on the game devs though _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |

As a Pole, im proud of CDProjekt's game. My computer is old and cant handle this game but I was on game premiere and this game is perfect.
Especially I must recommend the whole Andrzej Sapkowski's saga. The best fantasy book I've ever read. Greetings from Poland! |

voice acting is quite nice, some retarded ppl that are quite annoying usually are not satisfied with it since for them its 'as crappy as any other non-UK voice acting'. but thats really ignorant because

Geralt (the main hero-antihero of this game) sounds just like he should - somewhat apathic, a little ignorant, maybe a bit flegmatic (dunno if there is such word in english) and ofcourse a bit evil. geralt sounds awesome , as for others - they are great overall. as for game itself... it feels really unique since there are lots of creative things in it. also there is no good or evil 'meter' like in most of rpgs these days. there are actions and consiequences - no evil or good. as far as i know in some places you dont have much choice - you either choose evil or greater evil... or something that saves one guy, but kills thousands or kill one guy and save thousands... etc... really innovative stuff. ive been waiting for something like that for ages tbh - its a bit like kotor - calm, casual, interesting, great story etc... _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Witcher seems pretty cool. I am not far in the game so I cannot really judge and give a complete opinion.
