I think its interesting how in the Old Jedi order you couldn't marry etc. However when Luke re-built it they could marry. Does this mean that Passion and Love is now a Jedi trait? Do they just chop and change the rules when it pleases them? Good job there was not a rule saying "No little green men" or the Jedi would have been stuffed, lol!
Personally I think its a good thing they can marry, brings a sense of realism to it. I think Revan was the best because he embodied the true nature of Sith. I don't necessarily believe all Sith are evil. If you look at their code, nothing says that evil is he way to the dark side. Although it has been seen as an "evil" way, Revan, and if I might add Jacen both embodied the true way of the Sith code. They were passionate, and very powerful.

Exar or Sidious.
