I am a little confused. I thought sure that Central Time was -6 off of UTC (which is what I have it set to in my profile) but every time I post, the time is off by two hours. For example, If I were to post at 3:07pm it would show up as 1:07pm. Am I doing something wrong? I guess I could just set my offset to -4 but I wanted to know if anyone else has this problem. There is a class I want to take that says it’s at 5:00pm. If it were actually at 7:00pm I could attend. Thanks.

Thanks DJ Sith. I didn't mean to complain or anything. So this means that the class times are correct? That is sad because now I cannot attend the class I wanted to. Oh well mabey a J-man can give me some pointers. I'll go find one now. _______________ One of the Belouve boys |

Yeah.. this one of the things on my "to do" list. The classes are all handled by UTC offset, but the site comments and posts, etc are still handled by the servers time.
Back in the day all class times were CST, which caused a BUNCH of problems for the non US students, so we made all class times based on the UNIX timestamp, but I never got around to doing the rest of the site like that. Yeah yeah I'll fix it. It's not too hard to do, I just haven't gotten around to it yet  _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
