| challenge problems with academy servers. | |

I have found that with various servers that are running the academy mod, sometimes I find it impossible to challenge someone.
I'm not sure if it is the animations I use, or what. Is there a way of challenging someone from the console? such as amchallenge (lame i know but its the best I could come up with as an example). Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Maybe the servers arent running 1.2?

Yeah I managed to figure this out If you can't challenge, or be challenged, use /amsit (prolly works with any emote but thats what comes to mind) and try again. If it still doesn't work, get the other person to sit. You shouldnt have any more problems now. If so, try getting rid of old data from the previous mod. Like jk2mpconfig.cfg and games.log. Then rejoin the server. All should be good. Last resort, just do the emote over again...could be a server delay. _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

If u are in an emote when getting a challenge, u cant accept it... I u are doing an emote u cant challenge anyone... if u are right after an emote (10 secs or so) u cant accept challenges or make challenges... i believe that's it! _______________ Not back yet... My mistake. I read Jedi Academy and thought it was related to the mod.
By my problem, I mean that if I use the emotes during normal play. I sometimes become no longer able to start a challenge or accept one. This comment was edited by Bodster on Apr 15 2003 02:17am. |
