Meh.. Xbox has gone down for multiple weeks before. No network is 100% safe after all.
Luckily I have a Wii/360/PS3/PS2/Xbox/PC combo anyway so I'm not short of games to play online no matter what service is down. Must suck to be a one platform gamer and miss out on a lot of great exclusive games though. Only thing that bothers me is lack of co-op portal 2 and the fact I can't get my PC version till I can link my PSN to my Steam account. _______________ Padawan of Xanatos "You never say, "I'm gonna fight you, Steve." Though I must say there are some people getting rather upset with PSN, I guess they can't live without there badges or medals or whatever they are.

I has all zee consoles so im not bias but i do much prefer my xbox, the service is wayyyyy better i dont even mind the price, £40 a year? yes please for better audio codecs in voice chat, much better interface and joining and creating parties is 100x easier on xbox. Be able to see my pc friends on the WINDOWS LIVE games etc...
Blu rays i usually stream from my PC to my tv downstairs so i dont use the PS3 for that i pretty much have it for the PS3 exclusives and the few times my buddies wanna play some PS3. _______________ If you add me to MSN, tell me who you are

Why, I can still watch Blu Rays, play games off line and unlike XBox RRD I don't have to send it off to be fixed for weeks at a time or buy a complete new system like the 360. Oh and lets not forget, no XBox live fee.

well, i guess it was about time.
all sony did over all this years was pretending to be godlike (i do not want to get started on this in detail now, but people "in the know" are aware what sony did in the past, be it vaio notebooks, sony bmg - itunes things, removing linux option, fraud everyone remotely connected with custom firmware) the sad thing is that it targets people who are actually the "good" ones - according to sony. don't mess with them linux enthusiasts, sony. give them back their linux and all will be fine. get off of your high horse for one time and people will welcome you most likely with open arms. oh, and i will try a new custom firmware for my PSP later tonight. and i own no PS3.
