cheers, just want to make a thread to keep track on that nifty stuff bioware threw out.
last friday I got a mail that I was selected for "a" beta weekend. additionally it said that they are partnering with external gaming sites for additional beta keys and that I shall not redeem a key from those sites - obviously those keys are for people not signed up in the testing program? Anyways, accourding to bioware this invite should have gone out to everyone who is registered for game testing, or will go out. I have gotten no further info on WHEN this big beta weekend will be, nor did I get any beta key so far. Emails have went out telling people when they'll be able to play.
I'm in on Friday at 10AM CST, which is 4pm GMT I believe.  |

Plus they recommended you uninstall anway, something to do with certain things updating correctly. Well, maybe I'll just wait and not do anything till I get my copy of the game, then! Since, the characters I'd be playing during the beta will more than likely be removed when the game is actually released. Oh well, who knows what I'll do

Cloud Senatu I can say with (almost!) certainty that you'll have to reinstall your client.  There is a pretty big chance that you won't have to reinstall. Bioware has released a major update, and I did not have to reinstall the client. Though I did have to download like 15gb worth of stuff... |

Cloud Senatu Are you absolutely positive it was for last weekend? You may yet get an email anyway. Anyone registered on their site and who opted in for testing before November 11th will get an invite, regardless of whether or not you've done testing before. |

They will send another e-mail with details on how to download it at a future date. They should have stated this in the e-mail, but didn't.
You can also go to this page. It'll update with links to the client and such when they want you to start testing. Full FAQ here. |
