Revan is an Old Republic era novel that finally explains the missing holes in Revan's story. I don't want to go into details yet. I have read it and was quite amazed by it. It's a great tie-in novel to SWTOR, and it really does set the stage for some of the major plots in the game.

I've never read any starwars book before but decided to pre-order this because I really wanted to know what happened to Revan.
It's rather unfortunate that it's release is at the same time as Skyrim, Arkham City, Assassin Creed Revelations and any other number of games I've failed to mention but mean to play. Having said that I'm about 8 chapters in and have been enjoying it and the little nods to events from the games. I'm currently reading it and enjoying it a lot, although there are some odd omissions and some of it is a little glossed over.
It's written by the lead writer on KotOR (I believe he has written for TOR as well) by the way. I've read a lot of Star Wars books over the years, but I would definitely recomend this one even to people who don't usual pick them up. It's a great tie in and despite being set 300 years prior to the events of TOR seems like it'll set up plenty of the stuff in the game.
