Just installed Windows XP and its is seriously screwing up my computer. Will be down throught the weekend and should be back up by the end of next week. Will try to work on skins as much as possible. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

yup yup.... clean install. and then make sure you go here: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and get the updates and service packs and what not...  _______________ make install -not war |

It works best clean install full version. No problems yet. BTW When I get a major problem I reformat my hard drives. First I backup my data onto drive D:, then reformat C:. Second I reinstall OS back on to C: and then put the data saved on D: to C: drive. Third I reformat D:. Now I got a clean system ready to go. It may seem harch but it is the fastest way to get rid of the problem. Cut the cancer off. Did you upgrade from 98/ME? Or did you get a full version of XP?
