You guys are missing something here, its something thats bothered me about the academy for a while. A lot of people here at the academy train to become better players, duelers etc. The thing is, they only EVER play on the academy, hardly ever on publics which is where the real JKII community lies. don't get me wrong, the academy is a great place, and I actually prefer it to the randomness and lawless publics, but the academy is a sugar coated topping of the real gaming world out there. Here, we're all protected by rules and regulations, things we cannot do, limits we're not supposed to breach. These are good as it stops cheating, bug abuse and bad feeling so that we can all play in a nice calm, relaxed, friendly environment. Back to this guys question, it was "are you gonna teach how to defend against the yawspeed thing?" Just because it isn't allowed here, doesn't mean it won't be encountered in the game. Answer Time  The yawseepd problem was mainly in the 1.03 patch, using the backstab and backslashes to increase the amount of damage caused by these hits. Since the game was patched up again, this didn't really cause a problem, as that particular glitch was removed. As for defending against it, either move out of the way, or do it to them first, not a lot you can do. (didn't include the aprt about using pull as well) Sorry if it sounds like i'm bashing the academy here peeps, thats not what I want it to sound like. I second Tito's words, and would like to add this: Welcome to the Academy, I think/hope you'll find it a good place to learn new aspects of the game and have fun. Read the rules, maybe about us, and the FAQ and you're good to go. And then just go off to the servers and have a good time. |
