I, I've downloaded the JA MOD Special Edition, and am having technical diffulculties! This may not be a problem, but where do I put the Mod so when I start up JKII, I do not have do load it as a mod? The other main problem is that when I restart the map, or change map, or the game finishes, and I play again, JKII either crashes or the mod doesn't work next time round! :(
Does anyone have a solution for these problems?
Thnx in advance!

I had problems, but I am not really bothered loading the mod once I start MP. All i want to know, is when I restart a map, change levels, etc, what do I do to keep the mod working (without going to the main menu and loading it again)?

This is how I see it, but please correct me if there is the need.

1: In the academy folder, in your gamedata folder, you rename the dummy.pk3 file to dummy.zip

2: You place the folder "vm" inside the dummy.zip

3: You then rename the dummy.zip BACK to dummy.pk3

4: You delete the vm folder

-Rename the dummy.pk3 file to dummy.zip and place the vm folder inside. then relabel the extension to .pk3 again
-Delete the vm folder and then you can continue with the non dedicated server. (note: people will have to download the mod if you use it this way) My suggestion is to run a dedicated server and the 1.2SE is an old beta. It really going to be 1.3 when all is said and done. which should be soon!!

I can help you with the first part:

The .bat file in the .zip file must be in the gamedata folder. From there you just make a shortcut on your desktop or whereever for the .bat file and there you go: You get into MP with the mod loaded and ready.

The other part I want to know too, since it does that for me too. I've heard something about it but can't remember it.

Btw, you might want to delete the other topic with the same name.... ;)
