I'm into rock myself  , basically any type. Fav. bands include metallica, red hot chili peppers, system of a down, bob hund, cato salsa experience & the white stripes.

For me I listen to alot but mostly electronic music, Industrial, Future Pop and the like. So, in no particular order we have: Front Line Assembly, VNV Nation, :wumpscut:, Numb, Decoded Feedback, Epsilon Minus, Covenant, NIN, KMFDM, Velvet Acid Christ, Delerium, Laether Strip, The Cure, Depeche Mode and Download.

All disscusions of this matter must always start with the greatest and best band in the world, Tencacious D.
All time favs= Ramones, Bad Religion, Bruce Springsteen, Weezer Current rock materials= Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, You Were Spiraling, Saves The Day. I also enjoy emo/indie rock. Don't shoot me for saying this, but those boy bands are very talented singers. The music they usually record is just horrible. It's like a cake that's only icing. There's no substance to it. But, then again, most of todays "mainstream" music is like that. Most recording artists (I use that term loosely) just want to make millions of dollars. They're not in it for the music. Just because an album sells a couple million copies doesn't necessarily mean it's good music.

My favorite band of all time is without question that great Canadian "power trio", Rush! I also listen to Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd, Phish, Frank Zappa(RIP), and bands from that era. I don't think 2day's music is really that great. Basically, I listen to everything except for rap, opera and disco. (I think I just dated myself)
