Hey, I'm looking for a good Master who could help me with my combos's and special abilities, and other such in game techniques. I only have JK3: JA, and havent been playing it long. My main problem is that unlike most people who have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs, I only have 4 fingers, 1 thumb, and a stump to work with (I was born without a left hand). I've modified my controls into two types of settings; duels and ffa, I also am trying to get into a few classes however I dont understand what it means by this "Game: Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast", can people only with JK: JO get into that class, or can people like me who only have JK3: JA get into the server also. Hi mates, I'd also like to find a master, to improve my skills in JA. I have played JK2 for almost a year intensively (low force + only sabre, Duel and FFA gametype) but I sometimes feel kind of newbie in JA, prolly cause I am, just a few days playing this game. It seems to be quite different to Jedi Outcast . I just have some skills in Single Sabre, and no skills in the other 2 styles. But even in single sabre I need to learn a lot in JA, thats my feeling. So anyone could teach me to fight? : D Ty!  |

To all who post here, you will almost never get a master from this! Get on IRC, find out who is a new JAK or something, read forums, get on servers. Don't suck up! (tried it...). Jacen has an academy procedures class, I can (not quite) garuntee he will answer very similarly! btw, you can ask anyone for the 'basics' or for a tip or something. I myself would love to be a practice partner or help with new members. |

I think that this applies to both Knights and would-be Padawans so I am going to post it here and on the companion thred. First, keep in mind that you do not NEED to have a Master to become a Knight. Cool huh? The reason for this is because there are only thirty or so individuals that are capable of taking Padawans (officially) and, even with multiple Padawans, there are still thousands of students without Masters. Because of this, the Master/Padawan system is ment to be used for students that cannot attend classes because of work, school, and other RealLife (TM) events. If you can attend classes, then you honestly don't need a master. If you cannot, however, then you should try and seek out a Master. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |

I think its the student's place to seek a teacher, but I'm posting here to let those I run across often in the servs know I'm in the process of looking. I'm a central US'er, looking for an unofficial master. The few tips I've been given from some kind folk have paid off dividends and enriched the game. At the moment I'm concentrating on single saber, lt/dk meat matters less. Looking for a master, I use dark side usually, can learn to use both, I love using red for main attack, yellow for quick health damage, and blue for dfa counter.
