Im considering taking on at least one padawan... If you interested..hunt me down on irc..or drop me a post in my profile.. What i want from you is: 1. What game/games are we talking about? jk2, jk3 or both... 2. Your timezone. Preferably someone close to CET or GMT +1. 3. An interest in learning Red (heavy) stance dueling...Cause..well..thats what i teach..  4. How many times per week can you put into this and at what times... Don't bother about force..I know dark and light equally well...so there will be no problem there... Thank you for your time...Cheers! I will be taking on 3 Padawans for 1 on 1 trainning for now. If I can balance out those then I might take more later. I will teach No force dueling, Guns, Full Force duels, Siege (woot), CTF/instagib. For no-force duels, I will instruct you how to *dance* the blades  . Your next question is, "what is dancing the blades". Well, hmmmz.... it's my secret. I am a hardcore light side user but I will teach both sides of the force so you can learn the pros/cons of each side and how best to counter darkside . I will train you to be the best *you* can be. Some people's skill are naturally better and some take longer to develop than others. (stole that from jake )I prefer someone close to my timezone, gmt -5 because I might not be able to devote attention to ya if you live in BFE. However, if your schedule is flexible, then we might work something out. I have a criteria that applicants must meet. 1. Personality- you must have a good attitude and be able to work well other students as well as listen and do what the JAK's ,JAT's, JAC's tell u to do. 2. Patience- Patience is a Virtue . To gain skill it IS required.3. being Active- self explanatory. 4. Have fun! 5. Listen to me when I talk. 6. I have to know you before I pad you. Don't be shy, give ol' CT a lil' holler. So hang out on the servers and you can definetly find me in IRC to chat around 10:30pm-5am gmt 0 / 5:30pm-12am Eastern US time and various times on the weekends too. Skill is not required to become my padawan. It's willingness to learn thats important. If you feel that you fit this bill then post on my profile with your email address and state that your interested. Hello there. I currently have two slots open for potential Padawans if anyone is interested. I am however, somewhat picky when it comes to this type of thing, so I'm going to state a few things here that I am looking for in a Padawan. I teach Standard Saber only, so you must want to learn how to best use a Single Lightsaber against all other types of opponent. I will teach the path of the Light Side of the Force only, so any Padawans I get must be Light Side Users. You must be active, I will train my Padawans as a group that will all grow in skill together, so please, make sure you are around for me to be able to teach you. Finally, you must be willing to learn, and pay attention, I am going to start arranging Padawan Training sessions whereby all of my Padawans will attend, so please, if you have a sense of humour, thats great. But please pay attention and listen to both myself and your peers during sessions. I hope that's not too much to ask, and I look forward to working with some of you in the future. Just to let you guys know, I'm still taking on padawans (don't be scared by the 5 present paddies on my profile, 1 is just the n00b who happens to be my master ). Preferrable would be someone close to CET (GMT +1, I'm in Denmark), one who also has JK2 (I only have JK2 at the moment, planning on buying JK3 some time soon), and someone who is pretty active around here. I guess its time for me to take on a new padawan, since its been a while. Those who know me, you know what to expect. For those who don't here it basically is. I'll make you the best you can be, I won't say you'll win every fight you enter but I can make sure you give your maximum potential (some people are just naturally better at games )I'll teach you all the little hidden things they won't (cant ) teach you in classes such as wall gliding, full force dueling, how to own in FFA, CTF. If you want dueling, sure I'll throw some in just so you can handle your saber, but I'm not really a duel person (its so damn boring  )This may sound like a bit of a rude request for a padawan, but its not intended to be Oh yeah shoulda said, I do play JK:JA but theres no way I'm gonna seriously teach anyone in that until its fixed. So pretty much JKII only. I think that this applies to both Knights and would-be Padawans so I am going to post it here and on the companion thred. First, keep in mind that you do not NEED to have a Master to become a Knight. Cool huh? The reason for this is because there are only thirty or so individuals that are capable of taking Padawans (officially) and, even with multiple Padawans, there are still thousands of students without Masters. Because of this, the Master/Padawan system is ment to be used for students that cannot attend classes because of work, school, and other RealLife (TM) events. If you can attend classes, then you honestly don't need a master. If you cannot, however, then you should try and seek out a Master. _______________ I'm crazy, not stupid. |
