A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... STAR WARS The Jedi Academy Episode 3 Song of Harmony Six years have passed since all the casualties in the Age of War. The Empress has a fled to the planet of Coruscant to make a hidden base there, leaving the the Deathstar completely defenseless. Josh, who has managed to keep from morning the death of his master, Vaughn or more commonly now known as Shadow~G, has gone to the planet of Naboo where they are making the new Jedi Academy. There are rumors that the Empress got a new apprentice from the Jedi Academy. But from all messages from the Empress, she claims she has no apprentice. However, there are now more casualties reported from Coruscant now more than ever. Now, Josh and his fellow Jedi are disguised as imperialists to interrogate any other imperial and discover what is the source of this problem.. _______________ slorp |

[not in story] I'd jump in, but, well, I've no real idea what has gone on. But I did want to interject that I DID write my own short story a while back, seems more engaging than this one, and if anyone (probably Lianoitte) (apologies if murdered name), wants to host the Word File, I will let them post it for the Academy to read. The Academy doesn't support italics and other items, that are needed in my story. So you would lose some items if I just pasted it into a forum. And it's pretty long too, and only a start to the story as well. But if Lianoitte (or someone else) wants to host it, give me a jingle, probably sooner than later. Edit: and an upside, since the story is not done, I could encorporate good ideas from you guys as well, if they could work in the story. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. [Not in story] But then again, The Empress's apprentences (including once-was F2) fought better than Yoda. The Wingless's DNA was MEGA altered, although I already thought of that before she was ever mentioned in the story. But anyway, Wingless is still necessarily a clone of Lian. Hope that helps... [Not in story] Geez Vaughn , crazy training session. [In story] Eclipse looked at the Jedi around him. Xero, Wingless, Flash, Bubu and Ioshee. So many to choose from. He licked his lips in anticipation. His eyes glowed with a hungry red flame. Finally, he decided on Xero. The Jedi Master would make him much more powerful, strong enough to kill the others even if they were awake. He crept over to the sleeping Jedi, and fangs glistened in his mouth. Suddenly, Xero stirred. Eclipse froze. The Jedi Master opened his eyes and looked at Eclipse. "Hey, Eclipse." said Xero curiously. "Watcha doing?" The light in Eclipse's eyes faded, and his hungry look was replaced by one of puzzlement. "Doing?" he asked slowly, as he strained to remember. "I...don't know." Xero looked at him, concerned. "Are you okay man?" "Yeah, I guess so." Eclipse frowned. "Probably nothing. I'll be fine." "Sure thing, Eclipse." said Xero, going back to sleep. Eclipse frowned as he tried to remember what had happened. "ugh..." "Whats wrong? Do you want me to go easier on you?" "Its been so long since Ive dueled someone who was better than me." "Well... Here, take these special lightsabers." "Wow... thank you master. They look like twin sabers!" "They are. But they are different... try them out" [incase you were wondering, its Josh and Vaughn training] Josh turned on both of the sabers. "Whats this? They are alot shorter than any other saber!" "If you know Aoshi, then you will know his skill. He used a Kodachi (sp). This is based on that technology. It is a lightsaber, but only shorter. Once you master them, you will become unbeatable." Vaughn explained. "Yes, I will try" Josh said. "Now... defend yourself against me!" Vaughn attacked Josh at high speed. Josh, not realizing the size difference, couldn't defend himself. "Remember, they are shorter than a traditional lightsaber! Use the force!" "yes master!" Josh defended himself against his masters onslaught. "Very good... now, you atttack me. Remember, use the force." Josh charged. Using the force, he attacked very successfully. With one stroke after his combo, he got a hit in on his master. "Very good. Your getting better. Now I can teach you the special moves..." "Thank you master". "Now listen up! There are three moves which you must master. The first, is my second favorite move. Let me demonstrate. But first, remember; any move you can do with one lightsaber, you can do twice as powerful with two. Watch..." Vaughn leapt into the air. He looked as if he was going to do a DFA, but suddenly, he disappeared. Josh blinked, and looked around. He saw his master crouching below him. "Had I finished the technique, my saber would be either through your neck, through the middle of your stomach, or stabbing to any of the vital points (any swordsmen/women here would know what they are... if you want, i can tell you). You use the force, and your downward momentum to propel you to the ground at a very high rate. It can be used anywhere, as long as you are moving towards where you wish to travel. Try it." "Are you sure master?" "Yes, but... finish the move, and try to stab me." "yes master" Josh leapt up into the air. For a moment, he felt as if he was floating there. Then, the downward momentum started to hit him. He felt deep inside of him, and found the key. He found out how to get the force to move him faster. He saw it all happening. He zoomed down. He leapt up (using one lightsaber) and stabbed at his masters throut (sp). To Josh's surprise, Vaughn used some technique, where Josh couldn't even see his saber move, but he blocked it. Josh jumped backward. "What was that move?" "That is the next one. But first, let me explain. With your double shortsabers, you always stab with one. Then, in the opposite direction, you make a half spin and hit them with the other saber. If they dodge that, you continue moving, and hit them with the original saber. (if you watch Kenshin, its kinda like the Hiten Mitsurigi Ryu, Ryu Tsui, Sho sen, Nidan battoujitsu (sucession technique style)). However, there is only one way to defend against all three attacks. It is my third favorite move. It is a modified parry. You make sure that you move your saber at just the right distance to block their attack. Then, using force speed, a very high level speed, you dodge their spin, and counter with a slash, either single or double." "that makes sence." "Good... now, try it." Before Josh could respond, Vaughn was in the air, and comming down quickly. Success! Josh could block the techniques. "Master, I never knew i could do that!" "Well, neither could I untill i tried the first time. Now the final technique..." Vaughn started to tell. [not in story] im gonna keep this one secret untill... the end (well, my ending is a final showdown. If you dont want me to end it my way, just tell me) [in story] "Our training is done" Vaughn said. "I have kept you long enough." "But master! we were just getting started." "You are now a master of our style. Use it sparingly!" "But...But.." "I did not teach you to be like this. Listen, before you go, I have one more thing to tell you. This style only works, especially the succession move, when you have something you are trying to protect. Have a reason to fight, and have a will to fight, and you will be able to use this style. Remember, only fight when you have to, and only when there is a good reason!" Vaughn said. "yes master... Shadow~G, i will miss your training" "Please, Shadow~G died a long time ago. Vaughn is back." "Yes Master... Vaughn." "Now... go!" "Master... why do you have to leave!" "Josh...Josh....Josh....JOSH!" Josh snapped awake. "Are you allright?" "Where am I?" "You are in the Jedi Academy sick bay. Its me, Flamori 1. We transferred you from the Black Academy here. But, when I came here this morning, i saw these" Flamori 1 was holding Josh's two shortsabers. "I turned them on, and i was shocked. A lightsaber, but about a foot shorter. Where did you get these?" "Farewell present from my master. Have we gotten the Ocean star?" "No. The rest of the jedi are out looking for it. We need you to recover. I have the feeling the Demons are closer to attacking than we expected." "Damn... i had hoped it wouldnt come to this. Maybe, to end the distruction, we may need to resort to the Song of Harmony. Do you know how to play it?" "No. But the archives may!" "Good, I will look there" Josh said "Go now, go and find all the information you can. But Eclipse's trance was suddenly stopped. His mind changed to a naked (don't get any ideas, perverts!) body, hair falling down from her head. Her arms and legs streched out, mechanical wires flowing out. Suddenly, his image got closer to her face from somewhere else. (ahem.) Two, piercing blood-red eyes opened up, visible behind the hair. The wires went before her, and suddenly flew closer from Eclipse's view. The pain. The real live pain. He thought about what happened for moments and moments... and then realized. "The Empress," Eclipse thought out loud, "...is a female reincarnation of The Virus!" It was true. The Empress was dead, but now back, even more powerful than ever. Living in your computers. Your electronics. Your minds. Even in your very bodies. Suddenly with that, Eclipse had a craving for killing. The Empress has poisoned his mind, with the very thought of her. _______________ slorp |
