I was Just thinkin shouldnt the academy have a hall of fame I mean even in real life all academies do have hall of fames with there best students  it would make a great addition to the academy _______________ Is the enemy of your enemy really your enemy or your friend ? |

It is a good idea but may cause some problems in the Academy with people trying to to thier best and forgeting about thier mates _______________ if you're in a fair fight, you didn't plan it properly |

Hi guys, How about instead of a hall of fame, what about the Legends of the Jedi Academy, like a new rank or something. A Legend could be someone who is done with their work as a JAC, more like a retired Jedi/Sith or something. Maybe like a JAL(Jedi Academy Legend). I don't know, let me know what you guys think. Well when the JAK rank came about if i recall right it was supposed to be a graduate position for the students.. So effectively being a JAK says you completed the Academy and have done something good.. That reminds me of an episode of the show Naruto. There is this scene where they are looking at this stone with the names of all these great Ninja heroes on it and the main character tells everyone how he's going to get his name on there one day by doing something really great. how about instead of a hall of fame type thing, for people who do something really outstanding (as decided by the council, or an appointed council of JAKs/JATs) they could get, like, a "plaque" or sumtin. Not a big deal, just sumtin to recognize them.and like, there could be a special "hall" for ppl who make the rank of JAK with like, what they did for their trial, who their master was, what they did to acheive their rank, so on and so forth??? i dont know, but it seems to me, that would produce much less bitter-type feelings. _______________ --theDrummer-- All good things must come to an end...so why be good? |

I dont think that putting current students on the hall of fame is a good idea. unless they donate a server or something. |

And they lived happily ever after.... But one thing is for certain: if, IF, we make a Hall of Fame for gone people it should be those that knew them that makes the decision whether they should be there or not, not the newer students. |

Lol who buzz, in all honesty would go to that much trouble just to have a name which is no longer associated with them posted somewhere ? I say that helping and contributing to the academy is its own reward, you don't need your name on some plaque, or a trophy. The problem though Sith Lord, is that people might try and compete for it. "He got into the Hall of Fame, why aren't I?" Bitter feelings could start to appear, and that won't be good for anyone. Now it might be a little less if you do it for people that leave. But you might get someone to decide to try and contribute a lot and then leave. that would only be a good idea if everyone took it maturely... but we all know not everyone here can do that so i propose a wall of fame for "fallen" jedi. jedi who are no longer with us or who have stepped down or whatever, but who have had a great impact on the JA. the first entrant to such a wall of fame would be jedisith999 imo. coz without him, we wouldn't even be here right now _______________ make install -not war |

Indeed. But couldn't it be made as a kind of "Most impact on JA" thing? Then we wouldn't have to pick out single students and make the others unhappy since I think that the people with most impact either are gone or achieved some rank. ? |
