Hey all,
Reply here with what you'd like to see in these forums. Right now theyre up in a kind of a basic sense. Stuff I plan on adding: - Alternating background colors on the list of forum posts. - A way to see if a particular forum or post is unread or has changed since your last login or activity on the site. - Adding a way to see who last updated a post. Stuff I don't plan on adding: - UBB support What would you like to see here? _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

I recommend that you make it so that editing and deleting forum posts is like editing and deleting comments because I see all these people asking admins and such to delete or move their comments when they themself are able to do it. They just don't know how because the button simply says edit. Nevermind, I see that you deleted the delete option. If someone has a huge image in their profile, it comes up on the thread, and tends to squash up the text. Fix that, or DIE !!!! |

I don't know how many people do as I, but I only post to a topic after I have read all the comments. I've also noticed that not many people edit their posts to remove typos.
Could you put an option of being redirected to the topic page or even the forum page rather than the thread page after posting? This comment was edited by Eldrin on Dec 19 2002 09:00pm. |

i have an idea... let us choose whether we want to see the most recent posts first, or the oldest post first... because now we read the original post, then have to go to the bottom of the page and read up to read along with the "flow" _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

There's a few reasons...
1) I've found that integrating the current users database into a phpbb or vbulleting database along with changing the layout would have been a huge unseemly bitch of a task. 2) I'm a fan of the DIY ethic & like to reinvent the wheel whenever a problem comes about. I like how the mod we run on our server (for the most part) is home brewed and how the website is completely hand made.
3) I'm an engineering major and hope one day to use this website as resume fodder. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
