I'm trying to give notice: there will be a meeting of Holocron staff [edit: NEXT, _not_] this coming Saturday (EST). I'm planning on having it in the morning, and want input on the time that works best. Put your times in as GMT, please. A few things: 1. I'd like as many of you to be there as possible. It's not limited to 3-4 people...so I'd like more than that to be there. Bubu, that means you.  If any of you need me to call you for a reminder...forget it. I ain't your mom. =D2. The purpose of the meeting is to get a good determination of where we are at with the Holocron, and see how much more we have to do prior to release. I'd like to set some benchmarks and a final release date at this meeting. 3. Everyone please read and edit what has been so far distributed for secondary editing and give them back to the respective authors for cleanup. 4. Those working on your sections: try to tie up some loose ends and come in to the project meeting with a good idea of what else needs to be accomplished so we can shift staff resources to you as necessary. 5. Meeting agenda will be held in the order in which the Holocron is constructed. If you need to know the order, contact MindofSin. Anybody wanting to submit potential agenda items, post them here. ... just to clarify. has it been decided *where* this meeting is going to be held? for speed and ease of use (not to mention, easy logging and no distractions), i would like to suggest that it be held on the irc. what do you guys think? |

EXACTLY why I want to try and have people ready to present when asked. None of us want an extraordinarily long meeting...a couple of us have already done this, and trust us...it ain't a piece of cake. Point is this: section leaders, remember what I said before...please type up your summary of what yer doing, what needs to be done, what help you need, and any questions BEFORE THE MEETING BEGINS. !!!HEY!!! !!!YOU!!! !!!YEAH, YOU!!! !!!SLEEPING IN THE BACK!!! I said BEFORE the meeting begins. Like, the DAY before. Make sure yer ready so you can shoot when asked. It'll make the meeting go a lot quicker. Just cut and paste your sentences/paragraphs...everyone can read a lot faster than they can type. Well, everyone except MoS... Just kiddin little buddy!-rh _______________ Back from the dead... |

Ah, phooey. I've purposely twisted things around so that it makes only _you_ have to work harder. What time do you have to get up, anyway? I had to get up at 6 am, and MoS *stayed* up till - what? - 4 or 5 am? - till we had the meeting. 'Course, MoS _always_ sleeps in till noon every weekend, so that wasn't too much of a problem for him... -rh _______________ Back from the dead...
