hey, i was wonderingwhere we wuld all go if the academy got shut down. i mean it seems to me there are at least 300 people here and about half use the servers on a daily basis... so would you guys be able to stand going to public servers or is this the only way to live online in jk2? _______________ "this is Icco. It would be painfull for a lot of people but...
life goes on !! I don't think that the JA will disappear. Much defends on the fun and respect on the servers. As long as there is respect , the ja will continue to grow. |

if the academy suddenly died, i would probably join a clan or something. but don't worry. even if let's say all JACs and JATs stop playing JK2 tomorrow, the academy won't die. we students would take over and save it.  of couurse it would be a major blow for the JA but it would be recoverable. _______________ make install -not war |

I would probably just retire my JK2 cd for good. I don't play on public servers because I don't like the people on there very well. Their are lots of games I could go to. |

well, id set up my own server somehow, play on that, get some ppl to play (hell, id invite the council if they want). other than that, id be playing against some friends, and then back too public servers for me

i also never got to public servers (assuming having a pass at JA means its a private server thought we are alot like Icoo mentionned) i think our Jedi order would spread through the server galaxy,.. I would worry a bit about the Academy closing but i would'nt have to think alot about other places to go, I would follow my Master ... _______________ Back for good... |

I dunno... I played public for a bit before the academy started, but it wasn't nearly as fun as this. I like that you can join a server and know what to expect of people, just as they know what to expect from you. I like the easy and relaxed atmosphere here. Should it close I'd prolly go looking for some place similar. Or perhaps I'd join a big clan with it's own server... I dunno _______________ Second-in-command of the mighty FiZZsters |

Well, this is the only place I play. And to mention it, the only place I've ever played JOMP. Not that I wouldn't play anywhere else, but with such a wicked set of servers, and a good community populating them, (That's what matters to me, pub servers in any game tend to be a lesson in 13375p34|< more than a decent game) there isn't really a desire for me to go anywhere else at the moment. If for some reason the JA went away, then I'd hit up some of the J0 dedicated sites and see what they have for recommended server lists.
