Well, our beloved staffmember Loaf is no longer a staff member ...I felt this was sad/bad as he's done a great job so far, like creating the JA Yearbook, and making the JA (plus irc) feel much funnier with all his wacko jokes... And dont forget that he singlehandedly ended world hunger  So what do ya say? You want Loaf back as a Staff member? If no, then explain why! If yes, then do the same!  I myself give him a yes, because of all the work he put into being staff (when he wasnt out rescuing little orphans from Uganda )! So a yes for Loaf as staff!(now Loaf sounds like a politician) _______________ Not back yet... I'll come one day, I hope... The madman formerly (and still) known as Tito! I VOTE YES, cuz loaf is a great fella, and he, as tito says, brings lots of laughs to the academy he's cool, he hasn't done anything bad (as far as i know, or mabye thinks), he deticates himself to the academy a lot, did a uber nice job on the yearbook i don't know why loaf was "fired", but he deserves to get back in the staff position, i think(unless he did something REALLY bad, and i really don't think he's done anything REALLY bad). Loaf is prolly more deticated to our cool academy than most others.he does cool news posts too, and i was feeling weird when it was a long time since loaf's last post Edit: ohh, now i read DJ's comment i respect the JACs, and if they found this needed, mabye it is, but still, loaf, u did a great work This comment was edited by Rampage on May 11 2003 02:47pm. |

Loaf, I hate to see you are demoted and who's gonna do the news? I hope they thanked you for your hard work, it will not be forgotten by the students. But I respect the council and i am sure they have good reasons, so cu in the servers soon, fellow student. The council has been discussing what to do with Loaf for some time. Laely we feel he's been antagonizing students & certain Knights, instructors, and council members. Staff members have access to the JAT and JAK forums. We (the JAC's) didn't think he was handling the information that gets posted on there well at all. So we moved him back to student access. This is another one of those "fine line between friend and boss" things. Loaf is a cool guy and a funny guy, but I need to keep the academy running smoothly. Kueller, what makes you think it was Doobie's decision? He doesn't unilaterally decide on every single thing that happens here. Its like when Jumpin Jedi was banned. People thought that doobie did it but DJ was the one that did. Loaf is still at the academy, he can still be on IRC. He's just no longer the news guy. You need to learn to respect and go with the Council's decisions on some matters. Otherwise, why don't we just start petitioning for every single person ever banned or demoted from the JA. when the council makes a decision... don't go out making "petitions". don't you trust the council knows what it's doing? if you feel they have made a wrong decision, talk to them. petitions won't help. now, loaf, i'd like to know what happened there... _______________ make install -not war |
