From the unecessary eye candy and functionality dept i give you polls! As always I test as much as I can on the test site 1st (thanks to those who helped me out with that), but I may have missed a bug or 2. Please let me know if you spot any bugs. Enjoy! Oh yeah.. misuse or abuse of these polls, like any other site feature, will get it removed from the site. Next on my list is the elusive files database. yeah, but of what number? of active students? of all (3000) members? of all thread visitors?  Edit: Duh, silly me. NOW I got it. It doesnt mean 1.22% but 1 vote = 22%. Anyone should be able to add polls to their own posts and edit their options afterwards. JAC's have the ability to add, edit, close, reopen, and clear votes for all polls. The polls system was designed like the comments system to be easily adapatable (aka with minor mountain moving) to different parts of the site. I may give JATs the ability to add polls to their classes. Files when they get ut in our datagase will automatically get a user rating poll attached to it. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |
