Heres a challenge, us vs. a Super Star Destroyer. Me and a buddy on the zone did it all the time, all you do it wipe out the shield generators then switch to gunner mode (if you're a corellian craft) then shoot downward as you hover above it, evading its shots at the same time. I think I just got XWA working right in Windows XP. It used to freeze during the mission briefings. You'll have to set the xwingalliance executable to run in windows98 compatibility mode. Right click on the exe and go to properties. Hit the "Compatibility" tab, and go from there. I'm getting my joystick buttons all set up nice.. soon i will be a force to be reconed with! _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

You know what is funny. I installed the game, boy oh boy, I must be spoiled. Its was good then. That game is bad looking now. Not complaning though games are getting better. Just look at this game. If you're going to do reinstall it I would recommend checking this site outhttp://www.xwaupgrade.com/ I think its pretty much dead but you should still be able to download the files. It makes the ships and a few other things look more like they did in the movies. Definitely a great plan - have to dig my copy & joystick out of the mothballs too. I've not played this in such a long time - i used to play alliance and conflict freespace 2 religiously (although not online) - as soon as i get home from uni _______________ Support bacteria, they're the only culture some people have.
