No, it's not an expansion. So, DJ, are we gonna get this thing started? Or are we just gonna sit around talking? I also have some more annoying questions: Are we just gonna fight in whatever teams we want? Or are we gonna have specific squadrons made of different JA members and those squadrons can train together and fight the other squadrons and try to become the best squadron there is? If we do that I want my squadron to be Rogue Squadron. All Rebel fans join me!!!  |

To roll you need to hold down your roll key and move your mouse to the left and right. I *highly* reccomend getting a joystick for this game. I broke my mouse trying to do a tight loop once. XWA is a pretty old game from LEC made back in the late 90's.. It's the latest in the series of XWing based flight sims. Yes you can fly some types of cargo ships, and yes you can blow up xwings. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

is this like a really good game, or really fun anyway? i might get it since its cheap, but i need to know: can u fly around in a cargo ship and kill innocent ships, or blow up x wings in a big clunker ship  _______________ if at first you dont succeed, try and try again. if you still dont succeed, youve just wasted a whole lot of time trying something you just cant do

Ah, I remember once where I decided to take out a SSD (it was just lying there, no shooting) with my Corellian freighter, prolly the Falcon. After I had fired the missiles I put it on auto fire.... it took me 40 mins before I had destroyed the ship, but damn it gave good points. (Yes, I destroyed the shields first) Allright, allright, divine wind then. *mumbles*I wanna see the bastards write perfect danish....  |

Padawan, its a flight simulator basically. Except in this flight simulator your flying star wars ships through space into comabt. In X-Wing Alliance they added flying corellian freighter craft and also some rather obscure star wars universe craft. The single player has a decent story line where you are a member of a merchant family. You fly missions in correllian craft, mostly cargo pickups but some fighting. Then you join the rebellion and get involved in a lot of fighting. The story takes place between the battle of Hoth, it includes a few elements from Shadows of the Empire and ends with you flying the Falcon in the Battle of Endor. There's also a combat simulator in SP where you can redo missions in different craft or play some melee or skirmishes, you can even create your own. Multiplayer I think is about the same way. Never really played it. You can probably find the game in a computer game store or maybe even walmart for around $10 or so if you're in the US. _______________ When you are going through Hell, keep going. -Sir Winston Churchill.
