I don't wanna be Jaina! Can't I just be Flash? The squadron doesn't have to really be made up of members of Rogue Squadron, it's just a name. Rogue Squadron is one of the best fighter squadrons that ever existed, so I thought it would be cool to have that name as the name of one of the squadrons. And Jacen, Tie Defenders are for n00bs. They require no skill whatsoever to pilot. It's really fast, and has awesome firepower, so even a n00b could do well in it. |

Because if you head over to the star wars discussion and look through the threads to find the one about good star wars books to read you will see that I pointed to the books about Corran Horn months ago, and Jaina is in NJO which I've been reading obviously proving that I did not just look it up. I guess getting a server first would make sense, but why not think ahead? If this gets really popular, what are we gonna do? Are we going to create a forum for XWA? Will there be classes to teach all the new players the basics and show them tips on playing? Maybe organize specific times to fight on the server (if we get one, servers don't grow on trees ya know) so people aren't looking at the status page for the server for an hour and have it be empty, then stop looking as someone decides to play. Just trying to consider all the possibilities. |
