Hello all. I don't speak out much, but something I feel is necessary to discuss. I am at the academy with out fail just about everyday. I have developed some fantastic friends. Alot of you know me alot of you don't. When I first joined the Academy, I think the biggest draw for me to be there was the fact that everyone had an appropriate level of respect for each other and everyone seemed to be there to have fun and grow as people by learning from others. I know that is the reason i joined and keep coming back. However, in recent weeks, it seems as though more and more people are getting frustrated alot more, arrogant, swearing in anger, downgrading others. I spoke with a young paddie the other day that felt the Academy was a joke, "A place for people to show off." Of course I told him that the Academy was a wonderful place with wonderful people and to brush it off and to keep coming back. I asked him please dont judge the academy by the failures of one or two students. Never put your faith in man, cause you will be let down everytime. I have not seen him since and he will not answer my emails. Kind of makes me sick. I know you guys, this is a long post and kind of serious. Those of you who know me, know I am not anal or anything and I am just here to have fun and help people. I just want to remind everyone, the reason most people, especially new paddies, come here instead of public servers is because they know they should not have to deal with LAMERS and ARROGANCE at the Jedi Academy. We just need to make sure we preserve our home and not jeapordize the integrity of the JA because we are having a bad night. If we can't handle that, we should take a breather and not be a negative influence on our fellow students and ESPECIALLY the new students. HUMBLENESS, Ladies and Gentleman is the name of the game. That is okay Cloaked, i posted this in four locations. Just because I felt it was important for everyone to be aware of themselves and others. HMMMM I DOUBLE POSTED. HEHE, but it's worth it Hey Moby- I fully agree. I myself am somewhat new to the academy. I have been on almost everyday since I joined b/c of the welcome I first received. This place is awesome simply b/c of the cool people here and the atmosphere/attitude they give. You guys have been great, and I hope every new person that comes to the academy gets the same treatment from the more experienced players as I have. I agree with Mobilty on this one people......
