Quantity != Quality May the person who read this, remember that ![]() I'm not going to explain any further what i mean by this, but i'm sure there's at least one person who knows what this is about. NOTE: Although this might be taken as a joke, this is actually serious, and intended to wake some people up. This post was edited by Aron on Jun 30 2003 11:36pm. |

Learn to read. You can interpret this your own way, but i wrote it down as simple as possible. When i say Quantity != Quality, there is no reason for you to think i mean something else. This comment was edited by Aron on Jul 01 2003 12:36pm. |

Are you saying quality == quantity?! ![]() |
Aron - Retired ![]() |
In your case, its a good thing. In the case of some other people (even one who posted in this thread) , it isnt ![]() Im not going to clarify myself. If people don't see what i mean, its generally a good thing, as long as it is not ment for them. If it's ment for them, and they dont see... oh well... right DJ! JS is another thing from JScript.. And JS is better coz i h8 M$ (Microsoft, that's how us programmers call it)!!! fizz, maybe not .value... quantity/quality are abstract meanings... So it would be better (for C++ anyway) to have it as quantity->value != quality->value..... hehe, but if u were talking Java, u were right! ![]() BTW: for the topic, i agree with Aso _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. Ehm AsoAron, are you saying that through *your* real-life the outcome would be false? Fizz I thought that it was used in other programming languages (or even normal math or algebra), just wasn't sure ![]() |

While we're wearing our nerd hats in this thread... ![]() JScript != Javascript. JScript is a Miscorsoft implementation of JavaScript w/ a slightly different DOM and whatnot. If you're reverring to JavaScript you should use the abbreviation JS. *poof! Dorkus amongus!* _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

hm Halendor not only in JScript, but in most higher programming languages.... well, it should be quality > quantity or rather quality.value > quantity.value but thats only one point of view. In terms of stability, availability and errors quantity is probably worth a thought ![]() _______________ One of the Belouve boys, founder of the mighty FiZZsters Midbie council #20 - Fizz - #1933 - Jan '03 - Aug '04 "Renfield, you idiot!" |

If you parse it to YOUR real life, it might. As you put it, "pwnd" This comment was edited by Aron on Jun 30 2003 11:36pm. |

!= is a Javascript operator, it tests if value's are NOT equal. Depending on what you set quantity and quality to, the outcome is true or false. If you parse this through the Real Life⢠machine, the outcome will probably be true. pwnd. |
