Hey, I got a question about the killtracker. I cant get it to work correctly. It does not display certain lines and they are smaller then 29 characters :S. Could you please help me?? I want it to display the following things, can anyone please make then so that I can just copy what you write into the options menu on the killtracker????

Duel initiated: I wish you good luck(pname)
Duel won: Good Fight (pname), rest in peace
Duel lost: Good Fight (pname), too bad I lost

(pname = players name)

Sabered: I have now killed (number) people

I have one more question, Is it possible to make the killtracker say: I have now killed (number) people, when you defeat someone in a duel???

Just a short reminder: The only script allowed is the official JA-script. Therefore if I'll catch anyone using killtracker I'll ask him to turn it off :P

Ok let me explain to you what I meant. In killtracker 5.0 you can operate WinAmp 2.9 while in game. If you click the option to turn off your winamp messages it wont print them to the server. Now as far as the I kill you X number of times and you killed me X number of times.... ALL the messages are customizable in KIll Tracker.

The following are the mark ups in Killtracker that detirmine what stats get displayed IF you put them in your messages. If you dont you can still have Good Fight or Good Luck by themselves:

%n = name of the person killed
%s = total # of kills
%t = will display the time in your messages.
%d = displays the number of times the opponent has killed you.
%i = number of times you have killed an opponent.
%z = displays the total deaths you have died.
%r = displays a kill to death ratio
%q = displays the total number of duels you have been in.
%w = displays number of duels won
%l = displays the number of duels you have lost.

Now the only %command I use in duel messages is the %n command cause as far as the other stuff goes, who gives a rats a$$?:P

You will never see one of my due messages have stats in them. Now if you asked me to I could display my kill ratios manually with other commands. But I never do it to rub it in peoples faces.

dont think that is private is it?
(i've seen messages like 'ive killed you ... times and you only killed me ... times, that is annoying if those messages go over the server over and over but if it shows that message only to yourself it might be useful..)

Not really, once you know what to do with it, it can be rather nice. I was just on the server and Exar was like I ruined your score....lol I told him I use it maly for the fight messages and the WinAmp. Thats it. There a lot more to it. Kill Tracker will also keep individual fight stats for you as well. Sya you fight this guy 40 times in the server and you want to check your stats against him. Well all you do is type !search (playername) and it will give you wins and losses against that one person. Its kinda nice.

Boy lots of negativity here against KT's....LOL
I use Kill Tracker. I mainly use for those duel start and finish sayings as well as being able to use my WinAmp while in game. As far as the announcement of number of kills, I agree people that use it to blow thier own horn are a pain.

Heres a little guide to using KT:
1. When installing Kill Tracker (KT) make sure you install it to its own directory.

2. After installing KT, start it up and enter you name exactly into the box provided for it. But remember you can only use 29 characters for your name. IE:Heres mine ^7AOD_^4End^0eR^7[JC] thats about 21 characters including the color codes. Anymore than 29 ad you run into problems.
If your sure that your name has less than 29 or you change your name in the game open the console and type /name and it will re-enter your name automaticly in KT.
3. As far as messages go I always try to be respectful in them keep thins in mind as people will tend to be hostile to you if you make arrogant messages. Color codes can be applied to these messages as well.
4. For KT 5.0 final release users (like me) There is an option to use WinAmp 2.9 in conjunction with the game, and control it from in game. Now I find people get annoyed with seeing what songs your playing all the time when you tell KT to play a scecified song. So to turn it off open KT before going in game and click the options button. Under the options menu there is a check box that says echo Winamp Messages ect ect. Make sure that box is checked. Now your song titles wont print to the server, only you.

5. List of KT commands:
!kton: turns KT messages on.
!ktoff: turns messages off.
!loadwa: loads WinAmp from inside the game.
!play or !play (partial song title): starts WinAmp or play a specified song.
!stop: stops WinAmp.
!pause: self explanitory.
!next: plays the next song in your play list.
!prev: plays the previous song in your playlist.

Those are the commands I use the most cause people are less likely to get their furr up if I dont use the Kill meter commands.

(Note: In order to use WinAmp in the game and with KT 5.0 you must use 2.9, any newer version will not work.)

Well thats it for now. If there are any questions send me an IM at AODEnder on AIM or catch me on a server.

The only script(s) prohibited on the servers are game-helpers, aka yaw-speed, ydfas, combos, etc.

I've heard people using Kill Tracker in the JA. They shouldn't since the only script that is allowed on the servers is the JA script.

Yeah.. You'll definately find a lot of anti-tracker sentiment amongst the community, as it is basically an ego announcer :D

I'd just say t'heck with it.

Many people here don't like them and if you use them on the academy servers you'll probably hear a comment or request from someone to shut it off if you are using it.

persoanlly I think all killtrackers users should rot :D Nothing personal but they are the lamest, most annoying things in any game I've played.

No one cares how many people you've killed, and I bet you don't either. Also, having it say goodfight after every fight automatcially is just stupid. If you can't be bothered to type it, its not worth it and the whole value of the saying is lsot.
