I have no RL (TM) at all. For the past two hours I have been just sitting here, doing absolutely nothing, too lazy to even go onto the servers, and I can feel my life passing me by. Just sitting here, too lazy to get up and turn on the lights, reading mature-rated fanfics, listening to Winamp, holding three conversations at once, all on MSN, hitting the refresh button every few seconds just to see if someone has made a post I can reply to, and checking my profile every other minute. Is this what they mean by no RL(TM)? My mind is dead, and I'm just waiting for the rest of my body to catch up with it. Way.....bleah. Hey! I remember studying ancient greece in school! Alot of it was silly things like wars against the polynesians or pelicanisians or something  But some of it was kinda cool, like the Spartan Oligarchy! Too bad it wasn't a sexual Oligarchy! i never said i liked school... didn't u know my definition of school? school = shit + crap + BS + study + exams + history (the subject) + essay (the subject) + ancient greek (the subject)... so in less words school = grose! u don't deserve a lol Jacen... u deserve a ~=-L-O-L-=~ !!!!!!! the strange thing is that during school i got a RL™, and my classm8s don't (their studying all the time). However i'm the one with the top grade!!! On the contrary during vacations i don't got no real life and my classm8s do i think that having no RL™ during summer is NUTS!!! u gotta enjoy ur time outta school m8! The last few days, I too do not have a RL™... I've been sitting in front of my monitor trying to find someone's e-mail address, filling a someone close to him/her with BS to gimme that e-mail address, playing JK2 alone in MP, talking in IRC and in TS (since yesterday)... If my dad hadn't taken it seriously and take me to beach 2 days ago) to get myself a tan i would've been stuck in here for 4-5 continuous days... i think i deserve to be a No RL™ member... _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. |

So I did a little research on this "RL™" (over the internet, of course) and I found out alot of stuff that really doesn't get me too excited. It is, as I suspected, some manner of MMORPG, but the weapons spawn points are few and far between enough that it would be almost rediculous to go that far out of your way. The only somewhat convenient way to get a weapon with a reasonable damage/speed rating is if you join a faction, but they all seem to be fairly uptight. Another thing I don't like about it is the perma-death thing. You die in the game and thats it. You lose your whole character, all your items, cash, and saved info. The game designers really goofed on that part. Why does anyone play this game? Where, at the drop of a hat you could lose 6 months+ of character work? I mean, it does have a fairly good stability history, no cross-platform bugs and a variety of complex social structures for the players. The thing that gives me pause is the update history; it rarely ever gets patched, there hasn't been a new version in God knows how long (which is not to say the graphics are sagging, they're not at all ) and there is no listed tech support info. Frankly I think the company that put this RL™ thing together needs to scrap the whole project start from scratch. _______________ "It's because I love you. I've heard something about RL(tm) as well. The graphics look a little TOO realistic. The physics are great, but whos idea was it to have such restrictive gravity? I can't run on the walls like I want.  Who had the lousy idea of wait gain, anyway? In my opinion, I think the server needs to do a reset on the whole system; wipe the place clean. Things are getting buggier and buggier.(ROTFLMAO MUAD'DIB! LOL!!!) _______________ Wanna know what my name means? Peralos Ale'Velkyrii: Perilous Drunken Angel, or PDA for short. Perilous, because I'm bound to get into fights I can't win. Drunken, because ALE! Angel, because a valkyrie is basically an angel of Odin. I'm here to send you to the afterlife, but I can't gurantee I'll be stable enough to win a fight.

whats an a RL™? is that like Galaxies? I think my sister's told me about one of those once... It has a big blue thing when you mouse-look up right? I think I saw one of those things the other day when I went into the kitchen. It looked pretty boring, I couldn't see a weapons depot, but maybe the angle was wrong for that. Nice graphics though; this thing went by that looked like a landspeeder, but with these round things on the ground. It looked totally realistic. The framerate was pretty poor though, and there's no headphone jack; probably made by Nintendo, right? Well I'll wait for a few patces before I try it. Also, Chika: When one has the internet there is almost no end to the amount of Self-stimulation possible. _______________ "It's because I love you.
