Hehe, I'm just wondering if anyone has any stories about playing online games while drunk, stoned.., or anything else 
(not that i'm encouraging drug use of course) I found that my performance increased after a couple of pints of lager..., and i know a coupla guys here like to have a shot of whisky or cocktails while drinking. Name your fav drink too! :p _______________ May the ping be with you |

If you really wanna mix it with style, you gotta have those green lemons and loads of crush'd ice. Take a good heap of Blue Curaceau, a little Pineapple Juice and Amaretto (yes!) to your taste. Some people also might want to add some orange juice.... But as you get exhausted earlier when U drink & play. But it's much more fun. By favorite drink (apart from beer) is Green Almond I guess.... Ive played online drunk loads of times, what rearly pisses me off is when i play a god game drunk, if i do something drunk i will not remember what i did, so i might have this lovely game that is heading for a high score, one night on the buckfast play the game, when i get round to playing it sober, ive decleard war on everyone im loseing badly and if im playing civilization ive nuked every city on the map, hmmmmmm note to self :stop drinking _______________ Sit vis nobiscum. |

Well, I only drink, so I wouldn't know about anything else. I allmost allways play my Team Fortress clanmatches after a couple of Guinness, then some whiskey. As far as playing JO drunk, well, doesn't work for me. In TF, I use a rocket launcher, splash damage is good, and somehow I manage to get nice leads even when I can't see much of anything but my own crosshair. ;> A lightsaber on the other hand, more or less hits instantly, and my aim with the thing is bad enough as it is. If I wan't to play well, have to do it sober. But if you see me being more a goof than usual between fights, well, I'm drunk, and enjoying it. I've played once or twice where I had been drinking.
I remember one was on New Years Morning, about 5ish playing against Huxley and Xanthos on the [ks] server. I won something like 6 in a row at one point. I usually get my ass handed to me when playing those guys. Interesting question...why do we seem to do better? Is it the lack of intimidation? Extra confidence? I have a very extensive knowladge on this subject.
In my dorm last year, it was my floor's claim to fame is getting on Counter-Strike drunk, high, whatever and beating the ass's of all the other floors. Also, a good portion of the time I get on the Academy servers, I am usually stoned. It depends. At times me and my friends will have big drunken LAN parties, which are a blast. These usually include lots of yelling and swearing. Anyhow I do think that for a time I play better when I'm drunk... until I get all sleeeepy. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

I passed my learner trial when I was drunk ! I have also taught when I was drunk....and err..well, I do most things when i'm drunk, since i'm drunk alot
