Ok people. I have around 930 comments at this point. I want YOU to tell me what I should do with my 1000th comment and what I should do after that.
You might think that I have no life and you might be right.

nope! It counts the posts you make because we have certain posts that are only viewable by certain people. For instance I have a total comment count of 640, but a student will only see I've made 622 posts. This is because I've left a few instructor or admin level comments on the site somewhere.
I don't think this is an ineffeicient way to do it. I'ts just a SQL "select count..." statement. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

Heh ya know I can't reset postcounts? The website counts the posts that we make. If I were to reset his postcount I'd have to delete every post he made.

I think you should use your 1000th post to start a campaign for the creation of a student union, complete with a representative of the students. This representative could listen to all of the students concerns, and attend the JAT/JAC meetings to represent the majorities voice.
