Does any1 have any tips for making my connection a little faster (without changing?Cant afford broadband where i live) So if any1 can help (Mayb the server admins accepting a higher ping) please tell me. I can only connect to the class only server and DjSiths so please do something (I need to train in the academy!!!!!) |

Make sure youre not running any other programs that may be using bandwidth while playing JK2 (like Kazaa or whatever)
If you're on a LAN at home make sure your little brother isnt leeching off 5 FTP sites at once in his room or something. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your network card & the latest OS updates. Other than that theres not really much you can do. You can traceroute to a server or 2 to see where the holdup lies, but 99% of the time if you find a problem 1/2 way between you and the server you won't be able to do anything about it. _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

I live in UK and i cant get into gamecity, all i can get into is DJs and the ks class server. |

well, depends where you live, like Bubu says. If you live in europe, then you'll have the best ping on gamecity.nl. If you live in America, then you'll have the best ping on the other servers, and then there'll be differences between Dj's or KS as well. _______________ -Retired april the 19th 2004 |
